The following challenges await you:

As an intern (m/f/d) you will contribute to the digital transformation of HPM Chemicals and assist the Digital Transformation Lead.
You will support the planning and implementation of data-driven projects and change management activities in the precious metals production.
Furthermore, you will help to promote and establish a data-driven mindset across the organization as well as digital transformation and process improvement projects within HPM.
You will also be responsible for carrying out data analyses and developing dashboards based on machine, process, and SAP data.
Additionally, you will analyze KPIs and problems across functions to identify improvement potentials.
Your tasks will also include developing “user intimacy” by understanding the objectives and operating mode(s) of targeted users at Heraeus and/or at Heraeus customers.
Finally, you will support and train the production team in the use of various OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) visualization dashboards, and you will operate in a close and open collaboration with internal and external project members, partners, and customers.

Your Profile:

Completed or advanced Bachelor's degree in business (if technical requirements are met), computer science, engineering or equivalent degree
Excellent English and German skills both spoken & written
Experience with data science and analysis tools (e.g. Splunk, Qlik, Dataiku, SQL) and good knowledge of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint (other programming languages are a plus)
Basic knowledge in the area of machine control, programming (often Siemens S7) and connectivity (OPC UA, MQTT, Softing and Wago hardware, Node-Red...) is an advantage, but not mandatory
Ability to work independently, pioneering spirit, and own drive to want to make a difference
