The following challenges await you:
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, including verification of supporting documentation, coding, and entry into the accounting system.
• Administer general and cost accounting activities in performing all general ledger functions and keep custody of accounting books, records and forms.
• Initiate vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure proper approvals, purchase order matching, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Handle inquiries from vendors/customers regarding payment status, account balances, and invoice details
Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and reporting.
• Process and distribute calculation of commissions for commercial team.
• Perform regular checks and audits to ensure prevailing processes and authorization procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in invoice processing and payment workflows. 

Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA, CPA or CMA are beneficial. 
• 3+ years equivalent experience in manufacturing or management accounting. 
• Broad understanding of business issues, functional and cross-functional project experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication, ability to think on feet and interact comfortably with Senior Management.  
• Solid presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of financial information users as well as vendors and industry experts.
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards and practices.  
• Experience with financial systems, statements, reports, different ERP systems (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, ECI M1 and MAX) and MS Office (esp. Excel).
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and reporting needs.
