Your roles and responsibilities:


The primary responsibility of this position is to apply their engineering expertise to stabilize, continually improve and problem solve.


  • Assume technical ownership over assigned process area and apply engineering expertise to stabilize and continually improve the process, eliminate waste, ensure product quality meets customer expectations, minimize scrap, and drive down costs.
  • Provide day to day leadership, technical support, expertise, problem solving, and hands on troubleshooting to operations and maintenance.
  • Scale-up and industrialization up new processes and products.
  • Analyze of process and quality data to monitor the process, resolve quality problems, and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Apply data driven process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, and PDCA to drive process improvements.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to resolve production and process issues.
  • Implement LEAN concepts in assigned process areas.  Support continuous improvement efforts though leadership of Kaizen teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, R&D, Project Engineering, Quality, and Sales departments to achieve corporate goals.



Whst is required for this role:




  • Knowledge of non-destructive testing methods, welding methods and weld characterization preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings preferred.
