  • Collaborate with and utilize resources and expertise within the company effectively and accomplish the research and development objectives above with speed and within budget
  • Prioritize and focus on the most important and relevant efforts that maximize the results for the company as a leader exercise good judgment
  • Work with an international team of researchers and setting up collaboration(s) with academic institution(s).
  • Forge strong relationships within the R&D, Engineering, Production and other HTU departments as well as other Divisions within Heraeus

 

Your Profile:

  • High level of expertise in mechanical and electrical designs as well as proficient skills in CAD software, such as Autodesk and the like.
  • Hands-on experience in high temperature thermal & mechanical manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in high temperature resistance/induction furnaces
  • Basic skills and knowledge in control engineering and statistical data analysis
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in high-temperature glass or ceramic processing, optical perform or fiber processing, and thermal and optical physics is a plus.
  • Ability to work with an international team of researchers and collaborate with academic institutions is required.
