•    Performs routine and complex assembly tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, with little or no instruction, in a dynamic, team oriented, manufacturing environment.
•    Builds equipment in a timely manner, from and according to assembly instructions, blueprints, engineering sketches and verbal instructions.
•    Recognizes defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes or faulty workmanship.
•    Complies with acceptable quality standards using appropriate manufacturing practices and methods.
•    Provides leadership to all assigned work center personnel and adherence to established production schedule to ensure customer service, product quality, and operations cost performance requirements are met. Coordinates activities with other supervisory personnel or with other departments
•    Ensures all personnel are at their assigned work centers at the beginning of shift and break times are being maintained.
•    Ensures the proper materials movement in SAP are occurring to prevent unrecorded material usage and ensuring all production labor is accurately recorded.
•    Assists Production Supervisor with developing, maintaining and improving a work environment that fosters employee participation and performance to Heraeus HPS and EHS standards and assists Production Supervisor with continual improvement of HPS and elevation of the site to higher levels(Basic/Advanced/Expert)  
•    May assists Production Supervisor in the interview and selection of employees.  Trains and counsels all assigned work center personnel.  Ensures adequate cross-training within all areas of responsibility. 
•    Assists Production Supervisor in developing and recommendation of improvements to facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
•    Apprises the Production Supervisor in an organized and concise manner as to the status of all items in or planned to be in production.  Assures that the Production Supervisor is apprised of problems that may adversely affect compliance with the build plan.  Provides the Production Supervisor with alternative solutions to problems. 
•    Assists Production Supervisor with organization of maintenance and repair on all production equipment through qualified personnel, as well as all production, process and quality documentation in the assigned work centers.
•    Assists Production Supervisor with evaluation of assigned work center personnel and identifying opportunities for additional training or recognition for exemplary performance.
•    Serves as a backup to the Production Supervisor in Production and Logistics tasks.(SAP, Customs, Invoice Approval)
•    Assists Production Supervisor with advice and counsel to defect reduction teams for promoting continuous quality and cost productivity improvement.
•    Assists Production Supervisor with promoting and ensuring safety, good housekeeping, good manufacturing, and engineering practices are being maintained.
•    Creation of Purchase Requisitions to maintain consistent supply chain of Consumable materials.
