The Sales Manager Lamp Material is responsible for Lamp sales business focusing on key application markets such as water purification, air purification, special lighting, and semiconductor.

 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for lamp material sales in the US.
  • Grow lamp material sales with a focus on key application markets water purification, air purification, special lighting and semiconductor.
  • Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and monitoring material supply to customers in volume, quality, and time.
  • Build relationship to key customers and establish network in key application markets.
  • Assess market positioning, product offering, application know-how, market development and competitive landscape and implement a sales strategy to consistently meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets
  • Provides timely account, market and territory reports
  • Functionally lead the US internal sales / customer service for lamp material.
  • Forecast materials and sales. Closely align with Head of Lamp Material and Lamp Material Sales Manager/Product Manager in Europe.

 

What is required for this role:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Technical or any other related field and a minimum 4 years of technical sales experience in the manufacturing field, or any combination of both is required.
  • Minimum 7 years sales expertise.
  • The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Must be organized and able to work with highly skilled and purchasing individuals within a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be technically inclined and possibly have a commercial background in sales.
  • Must be able to decipher the product and its best utilization.
  • The candidate does not need to be a true engineer but needs to understand an engineering mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Experience in working and attending trade shows.
