The primary responsibility of this position is to perform final phase of tube finishing, including fire polishing, scribing, final quality inspection, and packing. 

 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Cut tubing and fire polish cut tubes based on customer specifications.
  • Laser scribe tubes prior to packing.
  • Sleeves individual tubes prior to packing.  (In order to do this efficiently, incumbent will become familiar with over 2,000 different part numbers).
  • Responsible for entering order information in computer system (SAP).
  • Skilled TPA operators may be required to provide training to new operators.
  • Set up saw(s) for proper cutting
  • Use calipers and tape measure to measure millimeters, protractor to check tube angle, gauge pin, and ID gauge plug.
  • Rack cut tubes to prevent breakage.
  • Enter order information in computerized systems (SAP) and QDC; fills out production orders.
  • Monitor and maintains ultrasonic water purification system.
