As Database Administrator Intern, you will generally be responsible for all such duties and responsibilities as are appropriate, and specifically responsible for the core duties outlined below.  As a member of the Heraeus team, you will be expected to devote your full business time and best efforts to the performance of your duties and to the furtherance of Heraeus’s interests.


The following challenges await you:

  • Implementation of Quality Management System software database in CAQ.Net.
  • Setup database fields in CAQ.Net so that data can be queried quickly on customer requests.
  • Setup user groups within the software with the appropriate access.
  • Setup interface of inspection gages to CAQ software (drivers already available in CAQ).
  • Proofing transactions for job orders in SAP communicates in bilateral direction to and from SAP.
  • Oversee the maintenance and security measures of company database.
  • Support all Quality with various tasks.


Your Profile:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Statistics, Scientific Computing, Data and Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Knowledge of SQL Databases, database modeling, and other Querying languages.
  • SPC experience preferred.
  • ERP experience (SAP Quality Management experience a plus).
  • The candidate will need to be resourceful, reliable, open-minded and an independent thinker.
  • The candidate must have basic computer skills, good communication skills and the ability to work in team settings.
