Your Role and Responsibilites:

This role provides the best opportunity in HR.  You are part of a global HR team with site responsibilities as a business partner and HR manager. As a business partner you focus on the following:

  • Champion the HR strategy as part of the Heraeus Conamic 2030 strategy including the assurance that global and regional HR tools and processes are integrated into the business. 
  • Contribute as a member of the Chandler site leadership team with strategic initiatives and solutions that affect and improve the cross-functionality of the organization.
  • Lead the core HR topics like talent acquisition, employee experience, culture, people development, capability building, organizational effectiveness and change initiatives to achieve the business strategy.
  • Recruitment and onboarding are critical activities with our strong ambition to grow

As an HR Manager, you focus on the following:

  • Developing, maintaining, reporting and monitoring of workforce plan.  Manage the temporary agency vendors and requirements. 
  • Responsible for compensation management topics including:  market price comparison of positions, and incentive compensation alignment with business strategy.   
  • Conducts the investigation and resolution of ongoing employee relations issues, anticipates problems whenever possible, and develops, recommends, and initiates appropriate steps for resolution.
  • Develops job profiles (descriptions) and participates in inter-company job analysis and benchmarking.
  • Supports and leads global or regional HR initiatives.
  • Trains and/or oversees informal and formal training of managers and employees on HR Policies as well as other applicable topics.
  • Advocate for workforce
  • Member of a regional and a global HR team, attend meetings and participates as applicable in Human Resources events and initiatives to ensure cross-divisional efficiencies in training, benefits programs, policy development, sourcing and staffing programs, etc.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including 3-5 years in a management role. Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • Preferred experience in production and/or start-up environments, as well as in a global organization.
  • Thorough understanding of Federal and State employment laws, including ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and Workers' Compensation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, integrity, professionalism, and ability to drive change initiatives and programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven experience in driving change initiatives and program execution.
  • Ability to effectively present and communicate information with managers, clients, customers, and government officials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficiency in internet, spreadsheet, document processing, and PowerPoint software. Experience with Successfactors is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
