Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am
Your Role and Responsibilities:

Provides significant expertise in developing a range of engineering solutions to improve the manufacture of new and existing Heraeus Chandler products.

Improves current production processes to manufacture products, using applicable methods and procedures.

Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, process workflows and OCAP’s.

Transfers new products into production from a “design for manufacturability” approach.

Participates in developing and maintaining documentation for processes and designs.

Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

Understand manufacturing practices in semiconductor, ceramic environment is a plus.

Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

Execute Technical and analytical problem solving, using a structured methodology (PDCA, 8D, especially 3Leg/5Why, and KT)

Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
What is required for this role:
-
4 year Degree in Engineering and/or 4-7 years of relevant experience in the Semiconductor industry

Well-developed leadership skills that inspire and motivate others.

Stop and fix concept.

Ability to explain a range of complex technical information and communicate with staff at all levels.

Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement

Strong customer focus and takes ownership of internal challenges.

Well-organized and self-directed team player that can successfully lead teams.

An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization.

Experience working with international colleagues and/or customers as well as a comfort level reporting in a matrix organization.
