Here are just a few of the things you will get to do:

  • Develop and validate analytical methods for testing of finished goods and raw materials by various techniques including ICP-MS, HPLC, LC, GC, and titration.
  • Provide expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and instrument trouble shooting.
  • Develop and update analytical procedures and methods to ensure accuracy and repeatable testing of samples.
  • Lead statistical analysis activities including GR&R and MSA in the QC Laboratory.
  • Author analytical method, qualification, and validation reports.
  • Contribute to metrology-focused customer meetings.
  • Train others in laboratory procedures.

We are looking for people who are not just open to new ideas, but want to bring fresh thinking, energy, and a creative perspective to their work. Some of the traits and qualifications the ideal candidate would possess include:

  • A master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry with at least 5 years chemical industry experience required. Ph.D. with additional post-doctoral research or chemical industry experience is preferred.
  • Secondary expertise in gas and liquid chromatography techniques is desired.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and possess the desire to help others problem solve.
  • Skilled in communicating experiment designs and demonstrated expertise in writing SOPs, analytical protocols, and technical reports.
  • Ability to conduct measurements and calculate conversions of measurements. Must possess the statistical analysis skills that are required for measurement system analysis techniques.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form is required.
