Here are just a few of the things you will get to do:

  • Manage the communication regarding the status of materials within the Analytical Department.  Communicate with other departments to resolve issues such as scheduling, rejected samples, etc.
  • Prioritize and schedule product testing for on-time delivery.
  • Perform specialized testing and develop new testing methods as needed. Develop and update analytical procedures and methods to ensure accuracy and repeatable testing of samples.
  • Manage the internal and external calibration and validation of instrumentation or equipment. Source, select, install and qualify new instrumentation or equipment as well as modify existing instrumentation or equipment.
  • Supply all necessary documentation to certify product quality, assist with internal and external audits, and respond and resolve corrective action.
  • Maintains Quality Management data in SAP (master data, inspection plans, certificate profiles)
  • Perform administrative tasks such as database maintenance, analyzing reports and participating in daily meetings.  May support statistical analysis activities including GR&R, MSA, SPC, and SQC.
  • Develop and maintain a favorable employee relations environment and work with staff on their personal growth and development goals to ensure employees feel encouraged and motivated to contributed at their full potential. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include the selection, training and development, assigning work, and performance management of employees.



We are looking for people who are not just open to new ideas, but want to bring fresh thinking, energy and a creative perspective to their work. Some of the traits and qualifications the ideal candidate would possess include:

  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field and five years of analytical or quality control experience supporting a manufacturing environment is required.  The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and flexibility as well as the ability to schedule and prioritize effectively. The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems is a must.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel is required.  Experience using an ERP system such as SAP is required.  Knowledge of ISO 9001 is required. 
  • Expertise in Six sigma methodology and Lean concepts is preferred.
