Here are just a few of the things you will get to do:

 

 

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to be the main point of contact with customers and to be the voice of the customer to the variety of internal departments transferring information in response to inquiries about products, services and issues. 
  • Confer with customers and offsite colleagues by telephone, virtual audio format or email to provide information about products and services, shipping dates or delays and also to receive, enter or update orders.
  • Create quotes, sales order, and other supporting documentation in ERP, and enters the information into the Open Order List.
  • Determine and communicate the appropriate components of product pricing as allowed. Maintain pricing conditions in SAP
  • Compute price, discount and gather other data related to final invoice.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure that goods arrive on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods or other shipment errors.
  • Receives customer material complaints, records basic complaint information and transmits it to the Quality Manager for investigation.

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in a customer service role is required.  Customer service experience supporting a manufacturing environment is preferred.  A Bachelors Degree in a business or technical discipline is preferred.
  •  skills and the ability to communicate in a professional manner are required.  Organizational skills, teamwork skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to solve problems are required.  Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel is required.  Knowledge of ISO standards is helpful.
