Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Measure, weigh, and mix chemical ingredients for up to 6 processes
• Control and operate 1-4 pieces of equipment for chemical reactions and purifications
• Read and understand batch procedures, work instructions, and safety data sheets
• Monitor equipment and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions
• Record operational data and draw samples for quality testing
• Utilize SAP for transactions and find analytical results via Sharepoint
• Recognize and escalate issues, follow safety precautions and guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of working area and equipment
• Handle confidential information with care and assist with other duties as assigned

Your Profile:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Up to five years of experience in chemical manufacturing or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Basic chemistry, reading, and math skills required
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills required
• Ability to notice and interpret potential issues and prioritize multiple tasks
• Physical fitness to perform various physical activities and lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator and use safety equipment
• Knowledge of equipment such as pumps, ovens, stirrers, and dryers required
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards
