The following challenges await you:

  • You develop and build prototypes - draft and hands on - for medical devices designed for treatments of the human body to improve the well-being of patients worldwide.
  • In your position you will work as part of a development team with R&D Program Manager,  other engineers, assistants and RAQA representatives throughout the company as well as with our partners and customers on challenging projects to bring a product from concept through clinicals.
  • During your material research, you interact with our customers to incorporate their feedback directly into your work.
  • You will develop new processes for our products and document your work with the help of our R&D assistants within our PLM system.


Your profile:

  • Degree in biomedical engineering/ medical technology/ bioengineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional industry experience with design & process development in the medical device field, preferrably with class II and III products
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Medical product/ catheters and medical device standard knowledge (ISO 13485/ FDA requirements)
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customers or study locations throughout the world (15%)
  • Driving license for passenger cars.
