The following challenges await you:

  • You are the technical expert  in development projects for medical devices designed for treatments of the human body to improve the well-being of patients worldwide.
  • In your position you will work closely with other engineers, assistants and RAQA representatives throughout the company as well as with our partners and customers on challenging projects to bring a product from concept through clinicals.
  • You give advice for Junior engineers during  material research, you interact with our customers to incorporate their feedback directly into our project work.
  • You will develop new processes for our products and document your work with the help of our Engineering assistants within our PLM system and participate in peer reviews for project milestones.
  • The technical review of product and project documents and the mentoring of the R&D Team ensure the success of our customer projects.


Your profile:

  • Degree in biomedical engineering/ medical technology or bioengineering
  • Minimum 7 years of professional industry experience with design & process development in the medical device field, preferrably with class II and III products
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Medical product/ catheters and medical device standard knowledge (ISO 13485/ FDA requirements)
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customers or study locations throughout the world (15%)
