Your role and responsibilities:

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to lead, manage, and coordinate the activities of the Heraeus Medical Components (HMC) Development Site.
  • You are also responsible for continually improving the Customer Experience through partnering the leaders across functional lines, developing a customer centric mindset.
  • In your role, you are responsible for promoting continuous improvement and directly leading Design Engineering, and Prototyping Resources and indirectly responsible for Process Engineering, Quality, Automation, and Building Infrastructure.
  • You effectively promote collaboration and you manage change management and team work throughout the site.
  • The preparation of short-term and long-term plans, budgets and capital plans in accordance with HMC and business requirements are also part of your tasks as well as the participation in M&A scouting, due diligence, and post integration activities.
  • You ensure that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with Heraeus Standing Limitations, local, state and federal regulations and laws governing business operations as well as compliance within customer quality system requirements and ISO13485 regulations.



What is required for this role:

  • Technical degree and 15+ year’s industry relevant experience, including design and development of finished products devices in a regulated field.   
  • Demonstrated consistent growth in dynamic leadership roles ideally in global organization
  • Experience within multi-products in a technical manufacturing environment required
  • Understanding within FDA and CE regulated environment and demonstrated understanding within ISO13485 certified organization
  • Working with a positive attitude, acting within the principles of the HMC and Heraeus Core Values and demonstrating the Heraeus Code of Conduct Policy as relates for position
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization to ensure optimal information flow
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to think with a customer perspective and understanding the best methods to drive a distinctive customer experience
