The Role

This role primarily supports HMC’s President and SVP of HR. The Executive Assistant will work closely with HMC’s global leadership team, clients and other internal and external parties as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to the office of the President. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and will serve as a trusted business partner to the team.

About the role . . .

  • Provide outstanding administrative support, including detailed calendar management, expense report management, complex domestic & international travel and event coordination
  • Manage, prioritize, draft incoming / outgoing correspondence
  • Identify, propose, and implement solutions to enhance daily and ongoing operations
  • Coordinate meetings, including attendee management, materials preparation, room set-up and issue resolution
  • Provide functional guidance and work direction to an assistant based outside of MN
  • Assist in creation and editing of documents and presentations for external audiences
  • This position is based in Fridley, MN and will require in-office presence, although with flexibility.

What we are looking for . . .

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Flexibility to provide support in multiple time zones if required
  • Excellent task management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and proactivity in managing up and around
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
  • Flexibility for occasional domestic and international travel
