In this position you will lead strategy development and execution to grow the Medevio business in the Guidewire market segment. The incumbent must be able to effectively analyze market opportunities, define the roadmap, engage with customers and internal stakeholders and, in close partnership with the sales, product development and operations teams, leads all aspects of the product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle.


The following challenges await you:


  • Set the long-term vision and lead the product strategy development and execution for the portfolio 

  • Routinely scan the market in order to identify market opportunities, including M&A, alliances, and licensing; to gain insights into customer needs; and to understand competitive dynamics 

  • Define the product portfolio roadmap that accounts for, and integrates market trends, customer needs and financial objectives 

  • Develop and communicate a formal business plan for a product portfolio, including specific investments, make or buy decisions and resource plan 

  • Create business cases to define value creation opportunities  

  • Ensure the profitability of the portfolio, developing the price of the product and establishing and managing costs and margin targets, which includes continued pricing actions and product pruning  

  • Partner with the sales organization to develop and implement the go-to-market strategy 

  • Ensure the commercial success of product portfolio in all phases of its products lifecycle from concept to end of life 

  • Partner with R&D and Operations to develop product capability and technology roadmap  

  • Implement efficient processes that ensure alignment between Sales, Product Development, and Operations 

  • Define project and platform development prioritization and redirect (as needed) R&D activities to ensure timely execution of customer projects  

  • Collect and interpret voice of the customer (VOC) in order to define long-term customer needs  

  • Partner with Marketing to lead and implement promotion activities  

  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including the medical device manufacturing industry required 

  • Demonstrated consistent growth in roles ideally in medical B2B organizations   

  • Demonstrated understanding of specified market segment 

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills 

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30%, including some international travel
