The Following Challenges Await You:

  • Actively involved with QE in the identification and resolution of product quality problems. Utilizes statistical tools to identify root causes and for continuous improvement of processes.
  • Troubleshoots programs with measuring equipment software and/or measurement methods for inspection of new components.
  • Makes decisions as to the acceptable quality; determine reasons for rejection; complete required quality records.  Performs first article, and final pre-ship verification
  • Interprets and understands customer and internal drawings and specifications. Inspects received materials in accordance with purchase order and specifications.
  • Performs complex visual and dimensional inspection of various parts, sub assemblies, and finished goods to ensure compliance with drawing specifications.
  •  Manage and completes dimensional inspection for gage R&R and process capability studies.
  •  Identifies, reports and documents all discrepancies, and potential problems. Participates in root cause analysis. Assists QE in non-conforming material/part transactions, management and tracking of nonconformances.


Your Profile:

  • High school Diploma and 3 - 5 years quality inspection or quality system experience required.   2 year associate or technical degree or CQT/CMI certification a plus.
  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Statistical techniques a plus.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 and/or 9001 standards.
  • Proficient with use of precision tools such as calipers, gauges, microscopes, comparator, laser micrometer and vision inspection equipment a plus.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP and Minitab a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.  Adaptive to change and willing to support a variety of work assignments to fulfill internal and external customer expectations.
