In this role you will provide technical support to cross-functional teams to characterize and develop new technology platforms and processes within Heraeus Medevio (Electrophisiology).
The following challenges await you:
- Provide advanced support for engineering process development projects. Seen as an engineering process "expert". Requires minimal Engineering direction to complete activities.
- Assist with daily scheduling and shipment responsibilities.
- Advanced equipment setup including setup for long term manufacturing.
- Create draft manufacturing documents including work instructions, certification checklists, visual aids, setup sheets, etc. Establish and document process windows and controls.
- Demonstrates creativity and ingenuity in applying procedures and concepts. Able to draw solutions from a wider range of experience. Proficient at solving problems in a timely manner. Understands cause and effect as it pertains to process development.
- Provide advanced support for transitioning projects into production including training of manufacturing personnel. Provide ongoing engineering support optimizing tooling and production processes. Implements controlled changes, within established parameters and process change procedures.
- Provide training to others Operators and Technicians.
- Performs other duties as assigned by advisor or the company.
Your profile:
- A minimum of 5 years technician level experience required
- HS Diploma required and 2-year technical degree strongly preferred
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency on Microscope use
- Experience with a medical device OEM preferred
- Working knowledge of ERP preferred
- Knowledge and application of processes development preferred
- Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ preferred
- Experience improving manufacturing and development processes preferred
- Experience on catheter manufacturing processes: Laser Welding, Resistance Welding, Extrusions reflow, Soldering, bonding, swaying, braiding
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts to peers
- Must be willing and able to travel, including international travel. Travel will be minimal and mainly between Minnesota and Costa Rica
