We are looking for an Electrical Engineer II to join our highly innovative and experienced innovations team in developing new Power Electronics Systems for UV applications.

 

 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop innovative electronical hardware and integrate them into system architecture, with a focus on power electronics from conception to series production.
  • Develop, design, and engineer specifications and prepare or review design layouts of electronic circuits by cooperating with external development partners and suppliers.
  • Support the creation of equipment requirements and specifications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct initial prototyping of electromechanical and electronic assemblies, circuit boards, and systems.
  • Run testing and verification against the functional specifications.

 

What is Required for this Role:

 

  • BS/MS in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable.
  • Demonstrated experience pertinent to power electronics, preferably 5 years in electrical systems and components in product development.
  • Direct experience or familiarity with high voltage power supply design topologies, such as Switch Mode, Solid-State, or Ferro-Resonant power supply preferred.
  • Experience in the use of Simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Spice).
  • Knowledge in electronic circuit designs and respective tools (e.g., Altium).
  • Knowledge in the field of embedded software (C/C++) preferred.
  • Self-directed and independent style of work preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
