Your Role and Responsibilities:

 

•          Key member of management team and group Global Supply Chain team.

•          Leading the local Operations team with a mindset of coaching, development, and continuous improvement.

•          Proactive, effective and commercial business partner.

•          Responsible for budget performance for labor, manufacturing, maintenance, logistics overheads and capital expenditure.

•          Responsible for material purchasing and strategic procurement in close coordination with global procurement/global category management

•          Responsible for local Operations KPI's ensuring annual Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets are achieved.

•          Ensuring supply chain policies, procedures and systems support the drive for operational excellence and the Heraeus Production Systems program (HPS).

•          Driving cost reduction initiatives across operations.

•          Contribute to strategic initiatives, manage operational risks and support best practice sharing across the global supply chain

•          Ensure that the strategy for Operations is aligned with the business vision and future growth

 

What is Required for this Role:

 

•          Bachelor's degree in business, operations, logistics, manufacturing, or related field.

•          5 + years of experience in engineering, finance, or production management experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. 

•          Knowledge of EHS practices.

•          Thorough understanding of production planning and scheduling.

•          Proven leadership, staff supervision, and communication skills.

•          Experience in lean management. 

•          Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

•          Well-developed influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills.

•          Highly experienced in Lean Six Sigma methodology and management.

•          Manage strategic and non-strategic supplier relationships effectively.

•          Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills.
