The Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement Engineer(CIE) is responsible for the planning and execution of site improvement projects (Lean & Six-Sigma) to fulfill the strategic objectives of the business. In addition the CIE will execute as appropriate, engineering tasks necessary to achieve the most economical production while meeting or exceeding quality standards.


Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, vet and propose the purchaseof  new manufacturing equipment, to best support the enterprise. Conduct and audit time studies for productivity.
  • Develop standard work standards and line balancing for productivity.
  • Identify manufacturing cost reductions.
  • Optimize machining processes to reach product quality, efficiency and process repeatability.
  • Execute LEAN manufacturing techniques and design.
  • Optimize workflow and cell designs for shop throughput.
  • Design machine and tools for new product or process.
  • Plan, execute and manage projects to complete through product continuous improvement. 


What is required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, process management.
  • Five years' experience in process optimization, operations, manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma methodology, tools and practices.
  • Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
