The Product and Market Intelligence Manager will have the primary responsibility of developing and implementing the Heraeus Noblelight Global Product-Management and Market Intelligence function.  


Your Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Drive strategy development with a focus on products/markets
  • Identify attractive markets for HNG using a variety of sources (incl. paid expert interviews), synthesize findings (e.g. in quantitative market models) and suggest sales/marketing actions
  • Develop a product strategy based on technology trends, customer needs, estimations of market demand, competitive intensity, HNG capabilities and translate it into individual product concepts
  • Prioritize product change requests (from sales) to ensure alignment with product strategy
  • Manage growth and profitability of existing product portfolio through consolidation and maintenance/development of high-potential SKUs
  • Set/maintain pricing guidance for existing products through utilization of marketing research and setup processes to manage execution (incl. IT tools)
  • Plan and orchestrate the launch of new products. 


What is required for this role:

  • 5-7 years of work experience, including 2-3 years in top tier consulting or experience with UV/ LED Microwave products.
  • Graduate or postgraduate degree with excellent academic record, ideally in natural sciences or engineering 
  • Experience in a mix of commerical and technical roles
  • Key skills will include: structuring problems, and synthesizing information
  • Must possess a deep interest in technology and a demonstrated ability to convince people and lead teams through high-ambiguity/high-stakes situations
  • Need to drive for decisions and results including enlisting executive support as needed
  • Proficiency in English.  Additional languages, particularly German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean a plus
