Your Role and Responsibilities:


  • Evaluates, repairs, and performs maintenance on HNA products. 
  • Reviews product warranty claims and eligibility for warranty repair. 
  • Maintains records and documentation for all aspects of the Technical Service repair process. 
  • Maintains local Technical Service repair shop, office, and inventory. 
  • Develops and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. 
  • Offers Logistical support for the Technical Service department. 
  • Assists in receiving goods into the Technical Service queue. 
  • Facilitates the inventory goods issue from stockroom and shipping. 
  • Assists in the packaging and preparation of service repair goods. 
  • Maintains Service shop to 5S and HPS standards. 
  • Maintains Service SAP process for repiar evaluations and completion. 
  • Assists other departments within the HNA organization as needed or requested by Service Management. 


What is Required for this Role:


  • BS degree in engineering or related area with 2 years’ experience in field service; OR AA degree with 4 years’ experience in field service; OR high school graduate with 8 years related experience.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Able to travel on short notice, 25-50%.
  • Good planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work without direct supervision.
  • Excellent customer relation’s skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use internet-based programs and webpages.
  • Experienced with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • SAP knowledge desired, but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to distinguish colors on electrical components.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or electrical schematics.
  • Familiar with 5s practices.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with HPS (Heraeus EHS & Production System) standard.
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools and measurement test equipment.
