Heraeus Electro Nite (HEN) is a global supplier of sensors for the molten metals. HEN wants to strengthen its Aluminium and Copper business through the creation of a dedicated resource with clear focus on this segment and managed by a dedicated resource who will actively drive and exploit the full business potential in this area.
Working out of a home office, in Canada, preferably Quebec, the incumbent will provide Aluminum and Copper market knowledge, identify customer needs and develop products to improve customer’s melting process. Incumbent will establish personal rapport with potential and actual customers and provide highly visible, on site, customer support and technical insight while promoting Heraeus Electro Nite products and services to customers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis of Aluminum and Copper market by analyzing market trends, calculating business trends such as monthly sales rates, monitoring competition, and following current developments.
- Devise a strategy for promoting and selling new or existing HEN products into Aluminum and Copper market.
- Find prospective customers and new target segments.
- Serve as a liaison between HEN and new and or existing customers, recommending products and services while ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Plan and conduct demonstrations and or trials at customer sites for the introduction of new and/or improved products.
- Assist in equipment start-up at existing and new customers.
What is Required for the Role
- Minimum of an associate degree, technical degree or equivalent technical training certificate in the following areas of study: metallurgy, material science, engineering, instrumentation, industrial maintenance or related technical fields. Bachelors or advanced degree preferred.
- Previous experience in aluminum, copper, foundry or other molten metals processing facilities highly desired.
- Previous B2B technical sales in an industrial environment highly desired. Must be willing to learn all elements of the Aluminum and Copper market and portfolio.
- Previous experience building up sales activities and teams a plus.
- Must be able to demonstrate high level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative with hands on mentality, be open minded and possess strategic thinking ability.
- Basic industrial electrical/electronic systems and mechanical knowledge along with pneumatics experience desired.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and eventually SAP.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently (domestically: Canada and internationally: US, Mexico) via car and or airplane.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
