As corporate consulting team at Heraeus, we know the challenges today's global manufacturing and service companies face. We work together closely and passionately with our colleagues in the business units on a wide range of business-relevant topics: From commercial, operational and supply chain excellence to digitalization of all functional areas. For this, we have deep expertise in IIoT, Industry 4.0, Robotics, Data Science and Customer Experience. To our internal and external customers, we offer content expertise, lead transformational projects and challenge the status quo.


The following challenges await you:

  • You will be sparring partner for the leaders of our Global Business Units, realizing performance improvements in marketing and sales. For several months at a time, you will work closely with one of the Heraeus Business Units on key topics that are highly relevant for the future of an entire market or industry.
  • To identify potential, you will conduct interviews and analyze data. You work based on hypotheses and always keep in mind the trade-off between accuracy and speed "80/20".
  • Going forward, you make proposals for performance improvement initiatives and take over the functional leadership of the business unit team (all levels) in the implementation process.
  • Your responsibility is to achieve a multiple return on the resources used - You determine the way to achieve this!
  • The solid ground for this impact is our existing Commercial Excellence Toolbox which needs to be continuously expanded with new approaches and established good practices.
  • Over the course of approximately 3 years, we support you in developing yourself into your next role within Heraeus, according to your interests and expertise.

Your Profile:

  • Technical or business degree completed with excellent results
  • Experience with B2B Commercial topics such as Pricing, Sales Force Efficency/Effectiveness, S&OP etc.
  • Ideal: A few years of experience working for a top management consulting firm
  • Excellent communication at top management level in German and English
  • Outstanding ability to structure complex problems and very confident/quick with numbers and analysis
  • Persuasiveness and experience in leading teams
  • Showing strong initiative - "waiting for instructions" is not an option for you
