The following challenges await you:
- Development of innovative materials and material systems for power electronics - creating a more liveable world!
- Perform and manage electrical and reliability tests for electronic assemblies, esp. H3TRB, SIR, power and temperature cycling tests according to standard guidelines, e.g. AQG 324.
- Development new or expand scope of existing electrical tests projects.
- Contribute in development and funded projects for power electronic assemblies from idea to production.
- Align internal and external tests for the qualification of customer requirements.
- Support of other destructive and non-destructive tests of materials or material systems in the Innovation and Application Center.
- Design and evaluation of material interaction and reliability studies.
Your profile:
- University degree (B. or M. Eng.) in the field of electrical engineering, physics, material science, mechatronics, or a comparable subject.
- Knowledge in the power electronics testing methods as well as experimental skills.
- Preferable first professional experience in the field of power electronics or materials for power electronics.
- Structured and independent working style from experimental design to the presentation of results, preferable including six sigma methodology.
- Fluent English in written and spoken, German as a plus.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as a motivated and responsible approach to work.
