Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • As a Power Electronics Engineer (m/f/d), you will have the opportunity to play a significant role in new innovative product developments, as well as to improve and continuously develop existing ones. 

  • You will work in the area of product development in an interdisciplinary team with short communication channels.

  • Your main task in the team will be the development and design of new circuits in the field of power electronics (e.g. electronic ballasts for special industrial lamp systems).

  • You will be responsible for the hardware development from the concept phase to serial production.

  • You enjoy working with current tools and software and being able to contribute new ideas to the design, development and simulation of electronics.

 

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics or comparable qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in the field of power electronics

  • Sound basic knowledge of electronic circuit design (PCB board layout)

  • Basic knowledge of microcontroller architectures (ARM, AVR, PIC)

  • Good knowledge in circuit simulation (e.g. LTSpice)

  • Good knowledge of circuit design and layout using Altium Designer

  • Sound knowledge of PFC circuits (1/3-phase) and their topologies in the power range up to 11kW, design of electronics with HV voltage in the range 600V - 5000V

  • Good knowledge in design, calculation and simulation of inductors and resonant circuits is an advantage

  • Experience in measurement preparation, execution and logging using simulation tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink, LabVIEW).

  • You work independently, responsibly and systematically

  • Confident handling of common MS Office applications

  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
