Do you feel at home in technical B2B Sales or are motivated to develop in the field? In this position you actively expand the business sector of environmental precious metal catalysts in the emerging hydrogen economy, helping Heraeus Precious Metals to shape a new sustainable future.

 

The following challenges await you:

  • You are responsible for existing global key accounts in the bulk chemicals and industrial gases sectors.
  • By building strong technical relationships with key clients, you drive the expansion of the product portfolio of environmental heterogenous precious metal catalysts with focus on solutions for the emerging hydrogen economy.
  • In close cooperation with Research & Development, Product Management and Business Development you identify, evaluate and realize growth opportunities. Together we deepen our technology know-how, bring new customized products into reality and thereby shape our next generation catalyst portfolio.
  • By benchmarking technical specifications and process conditions you create value propositions for our catalyst products.
  • You actively participate in trade shows and academic conferences.
  • You carry out projects and initiatives within multi-functional international teams, taking responsibility for steering these efforts to success, which means delivering project results within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards and considering the impact of your own projects across the business.
  • You work hand in hand with the commercial team to prepare detailed commercial proposals for products, projects and global loop service offerings.


Your profile:

  • Successfully completed degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with focus on Heterogenous Catalysis preferred
  • Over 2 years of experience in B2B-sales of complex technical products or motivation to develop into a sales role
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs and to generate value for our global clients
  • Self-starter and strategic thinker with agile Project Management skills
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and written, in English and German
  • Willingness to travel > 25 % of working time in EMEA, Americas and Asia
