The following challenges await you:

  • Manage team of business development and account managers to meet or exceed pipeline revenue and sales funnel targets. 
  • Engage directly with strategic customers when required, e.g. contract negotiation escalation; supplier day events, etc. 
  • Provide leadership, coaching and delegation to the business development and account management teams, managing performance of the team to ensure the following functional objectives are met for target customers:
    • Define customer needs and requirements to drive quotes and proposals to meet or exceed pipeline goals
    • Negotiate pricing of quotes and proposals by leveraging financial guidelines set by Portfolio Management
    • Support Heraeus Project Managers, Engineering teams, Sales and Portfolio Managers on new project 
  • Create account strategies, sales plans, forecasts, and budgets for customers and products.
  • Support all customer escalation topics as first line of escalation for Business Development, Account Management, and customer support teams.
  • Travel and participate in trade shows and other events to promote Heraeus.



Your profile:


Your profile:
•    Several years of professional experience in a position of Sales Management, required experience selling to the medical device industry, demonstrated success leading medical device Contract Manufacturing/Contract Design Medical Outsorcing global sales organizations/ Business to Business (B2B).
•    Strong understanding of medical device design and manufacturing processes
•    Prefer experience and knowledge relevant to Heraeus Medical Components product lines
•    Must be highly motivated and able to develop relationships at all levels within target accounts
•    With your excellent leadership, analytical, conceptional, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills you act confidently on all levels
•    MBA or other related graduate preferred
•    Proven ability to map out a customer, its organization, products, and future development roadmap
•    Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and strong problem-solving skills
•    Able to travel as required, up to 50%
