Your role and responsibilities:


  • You act as a junior project leader for customer specific product solutions
  • You will also be researching new precious metal compounds and homogeneous catalysts
  • And you develop efficient production processes taking into account the usual regulatory limits
  • You are responsible for the transfer of the developed processes into production and to the customer
  • Additionally you support the development of the value propositions of new and existing products and the position of the products by providing technical input
  • Also you take over the technical customer support for existing products on request from the sales department
  • You take care of the preparation of technical Documentation and contribution on promotion material in cooperation with sales and marketing and you regular participate on conferences


What is required for this role:


  • Successfully completed studies in chemistry or chemical engineering, ideally with a doctorate focusing on inorganic /metalorganic compounds /homogeneous catalysis
  • Fluent in English and German, other languages welcome
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Knowledge of QM and EHS and good knowledge of MS Office
  • Understanding of catalysts and in particular industrial chemical processes based on precious metal-based catalysts
  • Commercial understanding
  • Reliable teamplayer and hands-on mentality
