Heraeus Precious Metals, a globally leading company in the precious metals industry with a strong commitment to sustainability and winner of the Green Controlling Award, is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented intern to join our Global Controlling Team. This position presents an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance controlling, precious metal controlling, and sustainability controlling.

  • You support us in implementing strategies to measure and monitor the company's sustainability performance.
  • You assist in the monthly closing, budget planning and forecasting processes across multiple locations and business units. 
  • You assist in conducting in-depth ad-hoc analyses and preparing reports and presentations to support decision making processes within the organization and for our management.
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret financial and sustainability data, providing insights and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • You support the implementation of new tools and systems, including automated reporting solutions, to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.


Your Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and Excel proficiency
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Interest in sustainability practices and ESG principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team environment
