The following challenges await you:

  • In your role you will be responsible for planning, realization and management of investment projects in Germany and abroad (including deadlines, costs and reporting).
  • You coordinate the project interfaces Research & Development, Production, Infrastructure and Building Services, EHS and Purchasing.
  • In addition, you will support our production companies in the chemical environment at inland and abroad in the realization of plant projects.
  • The elaboration and evaluation of process and plant engineering concepts as well as the preparation of specifications for the technical purchasing department are also part of your tasks.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for supervising the installation and commissioning of the plants.
  • Last but not least, you will take EHS aspects and the legal approval situation into account during planning.


Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies as a chemical engineer or process engineer or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in the project planning of chemical plants
  • In-depth know-how in the development and evaluation of process and plant engineering concepts
  • Very good knowledge in project management and project leadership of larger projects as well as projects in an international context
  • Knowledge of relevant occupational health and safety requirements, plant safety and relevant technical regulations
  • Very good knowledge of English and German as well as good knowledge of MS Office, SAP and MS Project
  • Team player with very good communication skills, independent working style and assertiveness
