The following challenges await you:

  • As Teamlead (m/f/d) R&D Chemistry you will lead a team within the start-up Heraeus Printed Electronics.
  • You will be responsible for the ink development activities and for the realisation of projects in cooperation with other chemical laboratories of the start-up or physical laboratories.
  • You will co-operate with the process development department with regard to the further development of formulations of metal inks for the semiconductor industry and their use in the inkjet printing process.
  • You will also document research results and draft patents.
  • Last but not least, you will be responsible for implementing and realising agile working methods in chemical development.

 

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including management experience, in the industry, ideally in the field of advanced semiconductor packaging or power electronics
  • Completed scientific studies with a focus on chemistry 
  • Many years of experience in the use of inkjet inks in an industrial environment (e.g. textiles, decor or printed electronics)
  • Very good knowledge in the field of formulation of inkjet printable inks as well as in the analysis of cured / sintered layers
  • Application-oriented ink benchmarking as well as market overview and contacts to ink manufacturers
  • Experience with different industrial print heads
  • Agile project management, customer-oriented mindset, ambitious start-up mentality
  • Fluent written and spoken English communication skills
