     The following challenges await you:

  • In your role as a researcher you lead projects for new and further development of gas discharge lamps in the field of analytical light sources.
  • You plan and carry out the necessary experiments and test series.
  • You identify complex, technically relevant problems and their root cause. Subsequently, you present a suitable solution.
  • You participate in scientific and technical discussions and the definition of basic development priorities.
  • Furthermore, you support product introductions, improvements of manufacturing processes and elimination of process errors.
  • Through patent applications, you protect our product developments, processes and technologies.
  • Moreover you support our sales department on technical topics.
  • You represent business unit interests at national and international events by means of publications and presentations. Furthermore, you promote networking to institutes and universities. 



     Your Profile:

  • University degree in physic or related fields, PhD is preferred
  • Ideally professional experience in the field of research or product development
  • Experience in the field of UV gas discharge lamps, plasma physics and UV radiation interaction
  • Knowledge in the application areas of UV analytics and spectroscopy
  • Knowledge in the field of optical measurement technology, especially in the UV spectral range highly appreciated
  • Experience in project management
  • Basic knowledge in electrical engineering is desirable
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office products
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent organizational skills, independent and reliable work methodology
  • Customer-oriented and team player
