The following challanges await you:

  • In your role as subcontracting analyst your primary responsibility is to coordinate precious metals (PM) subcontracting activities from disposition of the material to PM return for Hanau Operations utilizing.
  • You will be responsible for grouping material into most advantages weight and value size for shipping to our internal and external parties.
  • Furthermore you will coordinate the disposition of the material to  most compensated subcontracting partners
  • You will prepare and execute assay exchanges with respective subcontracting partners, including evaluation of final assay results
  • Initiating and managing PM returns from subcontracting partners are also a part of your job
  • Therefore, you communicate proactive with the respective subcontractor/ business partner to cover different duties within the day-to-day operations.
  • You prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for management evaluation.
  • In addition, you will also provide guidance, trainings and process instructions to global subcontracting operations where necessary.


Your profile:

  • Sucessfully completed degree in technical and/or business with at least two years of operations, sampling, and analytical lab experience.
  • Good understanding of periodic table and elements and good analytical skills
  • SAP ERP system know-how is required and good understanding of Precious Metals Recycling business
  • Understanding of material classification, safety and environment impact as well as import / export regulations for material movement to America and Asia
  • Strong customer focus and taking ownership of internal challenges
  • Well-organized and self-directed, critical thinking and very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Some occasional travel required 
  • Willingness to go the extra-mile and acquire topics even, if they may reside outside of your area of responsibility
