The following challenges await you: 

  • As working student (m/f/d) Metrology & CAD you will be part of the Heraeus Digital Hub and support and drive our digital projects and platforms.
  • You will be responsible for the installation and connection of modern metrology in the context of digitalization projects (Data Science Six Sigma projects).
  • The evaluation and development of new, innovative concepts and selection of suitable components are part of your tasks.
  • You will create documentation and maintain standard solutions.
  • Immerse yourself in practice and expand your theoretical understanding through practical application - during the semester max. 20 hours per week and during the lecture-free period by arrangement also full-time (max. 37.5 hours per week). 
  • You can expect remuneration according to the currently valid collective agreement of the chemical industry.  


Your profile: 

  • A degree in natural sciences, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or a similar field, additionally succesfully acquired and proven knowledge in measurement data acquisition, as well as good knowledge in LabVIEW.
  • Experience in manufacturing-related design (CAD) of prototypes in Fusion360, with Sharepoint/One Note/Azure DevOps, as well as in the production of components and their assembly on manufacturing equipment is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and solution-oriented in project teams and contribute to the achievement of the project progress in the given time frame
  • Very confident working in MS Office applications
  • Systematic and structured work style, as well as communication confident appearance and experimental skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, as well as a valid certificate of study for the entire period of employment
