Your Role and Responsibilities
- Job Summary - As Maintenance Manager, you will develop and manage a stellar team of maintenance personnel. Including but not limited to screening and selecting new employees, engaging in performance management, fostering on-going learning, and providing continuous support to meet the demands of an increasingly automated and high-tech production facility.
- Spearhead the planning, installation, and maintenance of our sophisticated machinery and equipment in line with all legal standards.
- Innovate and improve by managing significant infrastructure projects, taking full responsibility for budgets and timelines.
- Eliminate downtime with your ability to develop and enforce a bulletproof preventive maintenance program using and interpreting data to drive decisions. Work alongside our top-tier production supervisors, production technicians, manufacturing engineers, and the plant manager.
- Utilize your technical prowess to troubleshoot automated, electro-mechanical equipment and support Manufacturing Engineers with both new and existing projects.
- Ensure that all aspects of facilities management are coordinated including building maintenance, grounds keeping, and overseeing an effective safety training program.
- Mastermind and oversee your team’s job assignments, enhancing our plant's capabilities and ensuring optimal output.
What is required for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of leadership and equipment maintenance experience in a high volume, automated, light industrial manufacturing setting.
- Strong electrical background and knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and Environmental regulations as necessary. Technical acumen, including a proficiency in reading blueprints, PLC systems, and understanding contracts and systems manuals.
- Management experience maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, including prior experience with PLC troubleshooting and metal fabrication.
- Education, knowledge or experience in the following fields (HVAC, fabrication, machining, pneumatics, electronics, gas, dust collection, compacting, fabrication and hydraulic systems).
- Prior experience working in an ISO 9001, 14001, and 45000 certified facilities.
- Excellent communicator who can seamlessly interact at all levels within the organization.
- Proven ability to prioritize, schedule effectively, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with OEE and CMMS systems, SAP or other ERP systems, and an occasional willingness to travel. Knowledge and experience implementing and executing TPM Programs and Six Sigma methodologies.
