Heraeus Electro-Nite is in search of a self-motivated, career-oriented individual who enjoys working in a shop environment with hand tools, doing mechanical assembly. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of a High School Diploma and have some experience professionally as a Mechanic, HVAC or Repair Technician or as a hobby working on, building, repairing cars, motorcycles, boats or equipment. This position will work out of our Medina, OH facility Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and repair poles, replace parts of existing poles.
- Drive company vehicle to pick-up and deliver poles to customers (steel mills).
- Daily inventory and scheduling
What is Required for the role:
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prefer Mechanical or Electronics Certificate or Degree from a technical school or the military.
- Must possess a customer service, customer first mentality and present oneself in a professional manner especially when interacting with customers.
- Must be mechanically inclined (this can be via work experience or a hobby such as building motorcycles, cars, boats, etc.)
- Experience troubleshooting electronic and/or pneumatic equipment or instruments to the component level highly desired.
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th”, work instructions, detailed drawings/blueprints (electrical/mechanical).
- Previous electrical or electronic assembly experience a must.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including heavy wrenches and pipes.
- Must be reliable, possess valid driver's license and ability to pass pre employment drug screen.
