Who are we looking for?
We seek a dedicated and inspiring Production Team Leader who will not only guide our production processes and uphold our prestigious standards of quality and efficiency, but also take on every opportunity to do better. You will play a pivotal role in harnessing the strengths of our production team, fostering a culture of safety, and ensuring the smooth completion of production objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Development: Direct and train our skilled production team members, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest operational protocols including the 5S program. Hop into production mode to perform mechanical assembly when needed.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operational activities including running Material Requirements Planning (MRP), printing and assigning production orders, ensuring employees have all necessary raw materials, adhering to quality checks and promoting a culture of safety.
Communication Savvy: Be the primary point of contact for internal communications regarding orders, issues, and training, ensuring a seamless flow of accurate information.
Innovation & Safety Compliance: Continually seek out improvement opportunities while ensuring all operations comply with safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven background in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Education: Minimum of a High School diploma or GED, with relevant certifications considered a plus.
Skills: Strong organization, leadership, and decision-making skills are crucial. Operating a sit- down fork-truck and pallet jack is also required.
Technical Know-How: Proficient with SAP, Excel, and general computer operations. Be a subject matter expert with our products and processes.
