The following challenges await you:

You manage all relevant business development activities across Sales, Product Management, Business Development and Innovation functions to identify, develop and realize future success potentials.
You support the Head of Photonics in setting the long-term vision and strategy for Photonics products and communicate this strategy to all the relevant participants and stakeholders.
Based on the team provided portfolio specific margin guidelines, floor prices and new product pricing and defining the pricing strategy, you are responsible for Photonics product profitability.
Moreover, you own the Photonics product portfolio roadmap and lead the process of business plan creation for Photonics product portfolios, including specific investments, make or buy decisions and resource plan.
In partnership with Innovation and Operations you develop product capability and technology roadmap.
You lead the process for customer project prioritization and you are responsible to guide, prioritize and redirect engineering activities.
Additionally, you lead an implement promotion activities, product briefs and sales collaterals for product portfolio in partnership with Marketing.

Your Profile:

A university degree in Science or Management and a minimum of 10 years' experience in Product Management, Commercial Excellence and Strategy
A proven track record of leadership and people management, ideally including a major growth environment
An entrepreneurial mindset and experience with manufacturing and commercializing complex technical products, preferably in the photonics or broader electronic materials industry
Strong business acumen, commercial aptitude and market understanding
The ability to create and articulate an inspiring vision for the organization
Ability to swiftly shift between a strategic high-level perspective and a deep dive into details simplifying the complexity to the relevant set of information
Setting clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance, tenacious and accountable in driving results
You provide inspirational leadership to the team of business development and product managers
