As a data analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping the company make data-driven decisions. You will work collaboratively with other teams to analyze complex data sets and provide insights that inform strategic decision making. Your work will involve developing and managing reporting systems, identifying key performance indicators, and working closely with colleagues to ensure data accuracy and integrity. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues at the headquarters in Germany to optimize existing data tools and reports.

 

Your Role and Responsiblities:

 

  • Prepare reports for management that highlight trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data in a compelling and easily understandable way
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business decisions, and assign numerical values to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
  • Work closely with the precious metals controlling team and other associates to process information, providing consulting and analytic services to leadership. Develop and manage information to support corporate decision making and improve existing reporting systems.
  • Perform complex analyses to assess the quality and meaning of data. Become a precious metals controlling expert, with the potential to grow into a more senior role.
  • Develop and establish tracking and reporting tools for a new business. Track relevant key figures for the different business lines on site, including involvement in regular business reviews.
  • Work with headquarters in Germany to optimize current data tools and reports.

 

What is required for this role:

 

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • First work experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Proven experience in handling and managing large data sets and relational databases.
  • Experience in reporting and data visualization to create and present visually compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
