Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as required):


  • Responsible for implementing and achieving the annual FM Sales, EBT and Capital Budget for the Americas.
  • Develops and executes sales strategies in alignment with global product strategies
  • Generates new opportunities and fill the sales pipeline
  • Own the customer relationship and is the main communication channel to the customer
  • Works on achieving cost savings by optimizing processes and on increasing profitability by implementing necessary price increases
  • Budgets personal and capital needs in accordance with business viability. 
  • Regularly updates regional and global Heraeus Management on the progress towards budget achievements and forecasts.
  • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies in alignment with Product Management and Marketing
  • Leads and develops continuously the FM American Sales Team
  • Manages activities of the Sales Managers including account distribution, marketing strategy, compensation plans, reporting guidelines.
  • Aligns and collaborates with the international technical and commercial team of FM to outperform the sales budget
  • Constantly evaluates regional market situation, industry trends, technology trends and competitive environment and share with global commercial team 
  • This may involve heavy travel within the sales territory and internationally (Primarily North America, South America and Europe, other regions may be included).


Education and/or Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry or related field and 10 years’ experience in sales or manufacturing of technology products.  Master’s Degree is preferred.  Experience in the Precious Metals Market preferred
  • Expericence with commercial excellence projects and their implementation
  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player and has the ability to lead project teams
  • Must have excellent communication skills. Experience in customer presentations.
