Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to plan and schedule the day to day activities of the Prep department using SAP tools and Excel. To create weekly schedules to maximize utilization of all of the equipment in Refinery.


Your Role and Responbilities:

  • Plan production orders and coordinate the raw material and feed for the department.
  • Track orders and metal content at every step within the department
  • Close and Balance production orders.
  • Coordinate expected delivery times with customer service
  •  Coordinate department material feed with logistics and purchasing departments
  •  Implement short, medium, and long-term planning of capacities and labor within the department.
  • Prepare capacity overviews and coordinate the right production capacity
  • Troubleshoot any order issues with the relevant departments
  • Secure the on-time delivery of production
  • Monitor delivery times and stock levels
  • Maintain all relevant production master data like BOMs and Routings
  • Work with the production supervisor to improve orders and workflow when necessary.
  • Facilitate the continuous improvement of the precious metal planning, tracking, and control systems within the Department. Propose new methods and concepts to the management team.


What is required for this role:

  • Experience with SAP or similar MRP software
  • Secure handling of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Good command of English spoken and written
  • Independent and goal-oriented way of working
  • Enjoys the coordination of complex processes, organizational skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • High degree of sense of responsibility as well as strong communication and team skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business management, Accounting, Chemistry, or equivalent experience (min 5 years) in production planning.
