As a senior project engineer you will be tasked with managing multiple projects at once with responsibility to complete them in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for supporting the day-to-day requirements of the plant to ensure ontime customer delivery. We offer training and developmental support you need to be successful. Your Role and Responsiblities:

 

  • Capital project management including purchasing, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management
  • Piping design through AutoCAD and/or 3D modeling
  • Generation of isometrics and BOMs
  • Scoping appropriate equipment, parts, piping, valves
  • Support process hazard assessments
  • Balance simulatanious projects of varying technical complexity in a fast paced work environment.
  • Projects completed to meet industry standards and local regulations
  • Review of professional engineered plans prior to bid
  • Cross functional day to day support of plant operations

 

What is required for this role:

 

  • An experienced engineer with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the precious metal industry. 

  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. 

  • Technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus. 

  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player. 

  • Able to communicate with people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills. 

  • Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering or Chemical Engineering. 

  • 3+ years working experience preferred.
