The Following Challenges Await You:

  •  Demonstrates leadership in conveying operational excellence principles, developing and implementing global operational excellence standards as well as defining and implementing continuous improvement activities for various operational or business areas.
  • Actively support the embedding of HPS Operational Excellence principles into the product and process development activities as well as in on-going operations
  • As a member of the CI Committee of HPS: participate in the definition ofHPS Global Operational Excellence standards
  • Roll-out MCD Operational Excellence standards in coordination with the operational leaders
  • Train, mentor and coach the engineering and operations teams in regards to the principles and methods of HPS Operational Excellence
  • Identify, evaluate, support prioritization and implement operational improvement opportunities by utilizing lean principles and/or 6-sigma methodology, in conjunction with operational leaders
  • Conducts cost/benefit analysis for changes to processes and/or equipment as part of the identification, evaluation and prioritization support of operational improvement opportunities

  • Work with development team as needed to determine capacity, layout, flow of new products before transferring to production

  • Performing equipment moves as needed as vlumes and demands change.


Your Profile:

  • 4 year technical degree in Engineering or 5 years demonstrated experience in an engineering environment. 
  • 2- 4 additional years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership skills and self-motivation – change agent

  • Ability to train, mentor and coach

  • Demonstrated experience with lean and/or 6-sigma 

  • Prior manufacturing process improvement accomplishments

  • Strong project management skills
