The following challenges await you:
• In partnership with the Head of HR (Americas), will develop and implement short/long term HR initiatives in support of the business' strategic objectives.
• Responsible for all HR related initiatives at the site including but not limited to coaching, leadership development, talent management and succession planning, training, HR process deployment (e.g. performance improvement, employee engagement

  and organizational change, compensation planning, etc.)
• Proactively promotes and maintains a positive work environment and drives employee engagement
• Monitors employee satisfaction and attrition levels and assists developing strategies and employee centered programs and activities to improve employee engagement and retention.
• Acts as liaison between employees and management team. Counsels employees and maintains positive employee relations.  Ensures issues are recognized and addressed at early stages, with appropriate level of management intervention.
• Coordinate staffing and recruiting activities across the site.  Collaborate with line management to drive staffing for non-exempt positions, ensuring a positive candidate experience, cost effective and timely staffing.
• Recognized as the HR subject matter expert, stays current on all labor and employment law requirements
• Ensure compliance, and claim response in coordination with Legal for EEOC, FMLA, Code of Conduct, Discrimination, Harassment and other legal/policy issues
• Adds value to administrative process by recommending policy enhancements and streamlining procedures as opposed to maintaining status quo.
• Ensure that pay and promotion decisions are tied to performance with consideration of internal equity.


Your Profile:

• BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or closely related field.  MS in HR or MBA preferred.  SPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP/-SCP certification preferred.
• Successful candidate will have 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting including, experience developing and executing staffing plans, and managing temporary/contingent workforce.
• Demonstrated experience managing HR processes and practices, aligning HR programs/structures with business needs, and the ability to work as a trusted 
business partner with exceptionally strong communication, sound business judgment, negotiation, influencing, 

  presentation and leadership skills.  Communicates and influences effectively within a matrixed environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen also required.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where quality and speed of decision making are critical to maintaining a leadership position.
• Flexibility to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities, and unpredictable events within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and on complex ambiguous projects
