 This role ensures regional and local customer needs are promptly addressed by delivering the following:

  • Be the first point of contact, the "go to IT person" at the stie for all non SAP application topics, hardware and software issues related to the desktop and mobile devices and support of Office Suite, Outlook email applications.  Offer support with production/manufacturing and office peripherals as needed.    
  • Maintina incident and service tickets, supporting your site and working with a team to support the region and global requests.
  • Daily review of system backups for local site and operating servers and network equipment.  
  • Assist Network administrators with troubleshooting of Network Connectivity, Server and VOIP issues and maintaining correct Active Directory entries for desktops. 
  • Maintain Configuration Items (CI) in Computer Management Database (CMDB). 
  • This global business has multiple sites  and some travel  between Heraeus sites may be necessary.

  • Technical School Diploma or Associates Degree in IT Administration or IT Technology,  Bachelors Degree Preferred. Technical certifications are preferred.
  •  1 to 3 years of practical IT support experience is required. 
  • Communication skills including active listening to understand the customer perspective and details of needs, expectations, problems and follow through are necessary for success in this role.  
  • Ability to create concise and clear documentation for end-users. 
  • Ability to assess situation and perform tasks towards resolution with required urgency.
  • Travel to support multiple business is required as needed, it could be up to 25% of time depending on the project.
